The IHI BU-M Series lubrication divider is an upgraded version of the standard BU-R series, designed for direct integration into automated control systems. It is a progressive distributor that not only divides grease/oil accurately but also confirms the operation cycle via an electrical signal.
IHI BU-M grease divider with an integrated microswitch.
The core difference of the BU-M series is the integration of a microswitch (limit switch). This switch is activated by the indicator pin when the divider completes a full lubrication cycle. This electrical signal (Normally Closed N/C, Normally Open N/O) can be sent to a PLC or pump controller (like the IHI AGT-525), allowing the system to automatically confirm that lubrication has successfully occurred.
✨Key Features of the BU-M Series
1. Automatic Cycle Monitoring
The built-in Microswitch allows a PLC or controller to electronically confirm each time the lubrication cycle is completed, instead of requiring visual monitoring like the BU-R series.
2. Early Fault Detection
Because it operates progressively, if one point gets blocked, the entire divider stops. The microswitch will not send a signal, helping the system to detect the fault immediately and stop the machine for protection.
3. Precise Discharge Volume
Each outlet provides a fixed amount of grease/oil of 0.3 cm³ per cycle, ensuring uniform and accurate lubrication, not too much, not too little.
4. Multiple Outlet Ports
Offers 4 main models: BU-4M, BU-6M, BU-8M, and BU-12M, corresponding to 4, 6, 8, and 12 outlets, easy to select for different machinery systems.
